Most municipalities, mine included, have regulations as to how many yard sales a person can have in a year and how many consecutive days they can run.  Most people don’t know about it because it’s not enforced.  But, this woman (link has been removed from the internet) now knows about it.  You see, her yard sale was shut down by her city.  I guess that’s fair — except for the fact that her yard sale was operating to pay for her medical bills.  She’s got terminal bone cancer and can’t work anymore.  She even moved the yard sale to her back yard to avoid being a nuisance.  But, rules are rules!
