It’s Christmas break here.  Obviously, I am not on my usual schedule.  Therefore, I am not posting as much.  I plan to get back into the swing of things sometime after the new year.  For now, I just have a few quick reminders about New Year’s Eve.

First of all, don’t drive if you’ve been drinking.  Not because it’s illegal, but because it’s stupid.  Also, don’t drive if you’ve been eating.  As you know, the police are watching…especially on New Year’s Eve.  Secondly, even if you haven’t been drinking, watch out for those sobriety checkpoints, anyway.  They don’t only check for sobriety, you know.  You might be sober, but you never know if you’re carrying a contraband camera, woodpecker, literature, bumper sticker, cigarettes, or whatever else the’ve made up without your knowledge.  Or you might have that cell phone suspiciously close.  You weren’t using that while driving, were you?
