I am a stay-at-home mother of two boys.  I have been married to my husband, Matthew since 2001.  Before having children, I got a master’s  degree in rehabilitation counseling and worked in a drug treatment center.  I have also taught G.E.D. classes and worked as a job coach.

I am a Christian, although this is not an expressly Christian website.  I believe that Christianity’s core doctrines and beliefs are best aligned with libertarianism (vs. any other political philosophy).

I live in Marion, Indiana. I grew up in Michigan with a brother, a sister, and two great parents.

I like to read.  Mostly I like non-fiction religious or political commentary.  However, I occasionally read fiction.  In that case, I prefer science fiction or fantasy.

I like to exercise.  I try to exercise five days a week.  Some of my favorite activities in this arena are swimming and weight training.  If I could manage to eat less, I might have a body that reflects how much I enjoy working out.

I enjoy playing video games.  Some of my favorites are Guild Wars and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.  In the past, I have really enjoyed Diablo II, Bioshock, Max Payne, and The Sims.

My favorite sport to watch is baseball.  I am a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
